A: Stack flexo presses can be configured for paper, paper cup stock, kraft paper, labels, wrapping materials and selected packaging films. The suitable model depends on the substrate, printing width, color count, repeat length and required finishing processes.
A: A stack press arranges printing units vertically and provides flexible color and material configurations. An inline press arranges printing and converting stations horizontally in one production line and is more suitable when die cutting, laminating, stamping or other converting processes are central to production.
A: A CI press uses one central impression drum to support the substrate through all printing stations and is generally preferred for high-speed printing on stretch-sensitive films. A stack press uses separate impression sections and is commonly selected for paper, labels and general packaging applications with moderate speed and registration requirements.
A: Yes. Selected stack flexo press configurations can print paper cup stock, coated paper and other paper packaging materials in roll form. The paper weight, coating, web width, ink type and downstream sheeting or cup-forming process should be confirmed before configuration.
A: Yes. Narrow- and medium-width stack presses can be configured for self-adhesive label materials, paper labels and selected film labels. Optional corona treatment, laminating, die cutting, slitting and rewinding can be added according to the label production process.
A: Depending on the model, optional functions may include back-side printing, varnishing, laminating, corona treatment, die cutting, slitting, cross cutting, conveyor delivery, web turning and turret rewinding.
A: Stack flexo presses can be configured for water-based, solvent-based, UV or LED UV inks. Available drying systems may include IR, hot air, UV and LED UV. The correct combination depends on the substrate, production speed and finished-product requirements.
